Reading Lists

Central Content - Paragraphs

Northumbria’s Reading List Service ensures that students can discover and access their directed reading in print or online at the point of need. The service can also digitise and copyright clear selected chapters from books or journals.

Working in partnership with over 1,200 Faculty colleagues the service now provides access to over 108,000 references for 2,597 taught programme modules and has received over 3.9 million page views since its launch across the University in 2014.

The University Library’s Reading List team provides Faculty colleagues with the bespoke support to enable them to create their lists, ranging from one-to-one deskside support to delivery of group sessions.

If you would like to find out more about the Reading List Service you can contact the Library’s Reading List team via e-mail

If you are a member of Faculty staff and would like to request access to the service straight away please complete the Access to your lists form.
